About Me

As I mentioned I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, in the State of Colorado and have a background in School Counseling as well. I have my Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from the University of Colorado and my Master's Degree in School Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado.

 

Counseling and the brain are my passion! I am uniquely suited and called to this work. I have worked with the entire lifespan. My passion is helping people see freedom from the messages of the past. I am EMDR trained and love this work.

I have a husband, two kids, and two dogs (full house!). When I'm not counseling I love to read and crochet. I am also a former foster mom and as such have personal experience with attachment issues and childhood trauma. Why am I telling you this, you ask? Well, I want you to see me as a person in relationship with you, not as a blank slate. Healing only happens in the context of relationship!
